Angry Thrall does not Approve!

So sometimes I get random, strange ideas for images; occasionally I even assemble them. Most of those times, I find myself wondering whether I should actually be allowed access to graphical tools of any form. ahem. This particular idea just came to me and struck me as somewhere between outrageous and hilarious, so I just ran with it.

After all, even Thrall has to run out of patience at some point!

I care not what the masses say. Thrall owns Garrosh and this clearly proves it.

    Three cheers for Nhans!

What worries me is that Blizz might even have Garrosh take over the horde… he has beaten thrall in combat before, and in the expansion the warsong clan is stepping up their game by a long shot. Garrosh may even become the Horus (Warhammer 40.000) of wow, takeing many strong with him to reform some demonic or just outrageiously brutal onslaught on all standing in his way. Now dont get me wrong, i love thrall over all else, i think he is the best leader any race could’ve wished for, however its often the greatest kings that when felled bring the “epic” retalliation which wins wars after them.

… also, would be NICE to see a character in wow have a “happy ending” … i dont know, let him hook up with Jaina and they go live in a cabin somewere.. heck considering she’s dated Both “Kael’thas im-an-addict-and-brought-kil’jaden-to-azeroth” and our present “Arthas/Ner’zhul aka the Lich king”. She really deserves a nice guy to date aswell in the end.

Anyways, rant over 😛 FUN PIC! SMACK HIM THRALL!

I heard Thrall becomes the new Guardian of Tirisfal.

And Garrosh kills Cairne and only lets Orcs and Tauren into the center of ‘new’ Orgrimmar.

With the introduction of Coliseum, my hatred towards Garrosh has even increased. I have never seen such arrogance and haughitness, and without reason, too. Given the future state of events – If this jerk will become a Warchief and declare all-out war against Alliance, orders murder of Cairne, destruction of Astranaar (and potentially attack on Gilneas), I will surely lose my patience and will do everything to get his head (on stake, preferably). Although I don’t RP, my character would probably say: “Diplomacy can fail. Sometimes even if you do everything you can. When it happens, you should be prepared, if your opponent will unsheath a sword.”

Yeah, kinda makes me want to reroll alliance just to pwn him. As long as Saurfang isn’t there. That guy’s insane.

The Hellscreams must have bi-polar issues. When you first meet Garrosh he’s completely depressed and unmovable into action. It isn’t until Thrall shows him the image of his father, Gromm, beating the snot out of Mannaroth that he gets his vigor. But he’s completely unstable in his enthusiasm for the Horde, too. I think maybe he’s trying to overcompensate, but I remember Gromm had issues controlling his feelings. Maybe it runs in the family?

Still, of all the Horde leaders, I hate to say it, but Sylvannus has disappointed me the most. She should have known it was only a matter of time before Varimathras betrayed her. My main’s a warlock, and he saw something like this coming years ago. Especially after he bagged the head of Balnazaar. Vari had to be playing both sides of the game.

Ah, and Putress was such a potential force to direct. If Vari wasn’t kept around Sylvannus could have aimed his talents down more utilitarian avenues. What a shame to throw that opportunity away.

I’ve never liked Garrosh… haven’t played horde during BC, I just get him known as a hot-blooded madman that needs to get punched in his face HARD.

The only thing I like about him are the reactions of some Horde-Roleplayer I’ve diskussed with. As Varian was introduced, they all were like “OMG, he’s such a creepy war-loving bastard, alliance sucks etc.” Now, that good ol’ GARROSH gets his stage-time: “Oh, yeah. No-no, he DOES has his reasons, yes! *nods* He wants to crash the alliance, well, because, uhm, …”

I actually like King Chin. A lot of players don’t because he’s so hot headed, but I think he has a lot of good reasons behind his prejudice.

You have to remember that prejudice isn’t a rational thing, it’s not the sort of position you really come to by thinking about it. It’s an emotional response to experience, and Wrynn has a lot of negative experiences with orcs. And let’s be honest, observation of recent events hasn’t really helped. Moreover someone like Garrosh is just fuel to the fire, confirming what Wrynn is already eager to believe– “Orcs are blood thirsty savages.” And, many of them are blood thirsty in one form or another. Honing prowess and reveling in combat is a cultural medal for them.

You could make the argument, however, that Thrall is a far better leader than Wrynn and is just hounded by Garrosh. That, if you could just get rid of Garrosh, that the Horde would be in a much better place. Thrall’s in a precarious position where much of the Horde’s successful advances are being attributed to Garrosh’s might, not to mention the Warsong Clan’s eagerness to serve the new Hellscream and the events at Wrathgate brought Thrall’s competence as leader into question. If Thrall got rid of Garrosh just to improve Horde/Alliance relations then he would appear as an appeaser, weak to both Horde and Alliance. This could set up events where Garrosh could take title of Warchief from Thrall with significant support. The possible result of demoting Garrosh is… no Thrall. 😦

So, we’re stuck with him. Ironically, Thrall is architect of both the Horde’s survival and (despite his best efforts) its terrible relations with the Alliance. He’s the one who signed Garrosh on. He’s the one who made alliances with the Forsaken. And, we have yet to see how the results of rescuing Moira Bronzebeard in BRD come down on him. From the right perspective, Thrall could appear as an incompetent leader.

True, it’s in the nature of the Hellscream family to oppose anyone who’s not siding with them or shows any kind of weakness. Such father, such son, as they say.

And for being a king, I think Varian should see reason before his prejudice towards the Horde. It’s a shame he doesn’t, but instead would throw himself into battle with any orc he catch his eyes on. All because of Putress’ plot to turn on the Horde, and at the same time use his fake allegiance to make the Allience turn on them aswell. If only Bolvar had survived to tell the whole story, this would never have happened.

Despite Thrall and Jaina’s desperate attempts to scold these two hot-heads, it would take some powerful being to force them into submission – someone as powerful as the Naaru or the Dragon Aspects – that’s what I believe anyway.
